#1 Heel turn: Marko Stunt
Another potential heel turn that that could take place could involve one of the promotions' smallest competitors. Marko Stunt's online presence is rather perplexing to see in AEW. Whether he is viewed as a face that isn't realistic or a heel that fans of AEW aren't buying into, a change could be decisive in support of a character direction. With the recent exchanges between Brodie Lee and Marko Stunt, the clear dominance of The Exalted One was apparent.
However, what if the turn by Stunt was in support of The Dark Order. That in some way they could provide him the support, protection, and guidance that otherwise didn't take place alongside Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus.
Could a heel turn be exactly what Stunt needs to turn the critics away? It could be exactly what he needs. To have him thrust into a prominent role and one where fans could truly jeer him on a number of different accounts could be precisely what would best suit him.
Marko Stunt's role wouldn't simply be along the lines of Alex Reynolds and others but rather a second in command. One where if Lee isn't available, all decisions run through Stunt. It is among the heel turns fans likely wouldn't see coming in AEW.
