Triple H wasn’t too happy with how Kevin Owens handled his loss at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. The CCO of the company may have to do the unthinkable to control The Prizefighter.
Kevin Owens’ heel turn has shown what the former WWE Universal Champion is capable of when given a chance. Triple H (secretly) allowed him to hit his Piledriver for the first time in 10 years after signing with WWE to shelve Randy Orton.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, Cody Rhodes cheated by hitting Kevin Owens with a Cross Rhodes on a steel chair to secure the win. The Prizefighter responded by hitting The American Nightmare with a patented Package Piledriver to send him to the hospital.
Triple H was livid with KO and physically got involved in the action. He could now plan to allow Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, or some other superstar to bring back some banned moves to silence Owens and counter his Piledriver.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
Check out the three moves Triple H could unban for a specific superstar during their rivalry with Kevin Owens.
#3. Cody Rhodes could use the Vertebreaker again in WWE
The Piledriver is a highly dangerous move that can result in several real-life injuries and consequences if not perfectly executed. The Vertebreakker is similar but could end up being even more dangerous if not done correctly.
Cody Rhodes is no stranger to the move. In 2024, The American Nightmare was allowed to pull off the move for one night only in his match against Logan Paul at King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.
The reverse Piledriver is something that can neutralize KO and teach him a lesson. Triple H could allow Rhodes to use the move in his rivalry against Kevin Owens.
The two men could have an extreme match soon to put an end to their rivalry. Fans could see them pull off some insane stunts to get over each other.
#2. Triple H's original Pedigree
The Pedigree is one of the most iconic finishers in WWE. Popularized by Triple H, the move has been used by other top stars such as Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins with the CCO’s blessings.
The current Pedigree is watered down as stars get a chance to cushion the blow with their arms on the way down to the mat. However, the original pedigree was a vicious move that resulted in a facebuster with no cushioning.
WWE fans could see The American Nightmare hit the original Pedigree to finish a match against Kevin Owens. Diehard fans will pick out that the original version of the move was used as soon as Owens hits the mat.
This would add fuel to KO’s narrative regarding Triple H and Cody Rhodes working closely together. It would also help decisively end the rivalry between the two stars and show shades of Rhodes’ heel turn.
#1. Randy Orton could shelve Kevin Owens with the Punt Kick
Randy Orton has some of the most vicious moves under his sleeve. One such move is the well-known Punt Kick.
The move is banned by WWE as it can result in concussions or worse. Therefore, The Viper has to continue using the RKO to win his matches.
Fans have seen stars like Matt Hardy, Big Show, Ric Flair, and many other top names take the kick to the head from Randy Orton. Kevin Owens could suffer a similar fate after Orton returns and if Triple H secretly allows The Viper to use the move to end KO’s current run for good.
Many WWE fans would love to see Randy Orton hit the banned move safely once again in a bitter rivalry. KO has already used a banned move against his former friend, and Orton could return that favor soon.
