WWE Saturday Night's Main Event will return this weekend and is set to be a must-see special episode from NBC. With many championships on the line, a lot is at stake, but so are the relationships of different superstars.

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event will return after last taking place in 2008. The upcoming card currently has Cody Rhodes defending the Undisputed Championship against Kevin Owens, Gunther vs Finn Balor vs Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship, Liv Morgan vs IYO SKY for the Women's World Championship, while Sami Zayn will go head-to-head with Drew McIntyre. Interestingly, with this stacked of a card, some twists and turns are expected.

For this list, we will look at three betrayals that may happen at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.

#3. Randy Orton might be back with some vengeance

A month ago, Randy Orton was injured after an intense brawl with Kevin Owens on SmackDown. At the time, the latter was mad about how The Viper chose to side with Cody Rhodes. However, his perception might change this time around.

After some time away, The Apex Predator might realize how The American Nightmare somewhat stabbed him in the back by aligning with Roman Reigns, who was responsible for Randy's previous back injury. Due to this, Orton might return and swerve Rhodes by costing him the Undisputed Title instead of attacking Kevin.

#2. Gunther retains the World Heavyweight Championship again due to interference

At Survivor Series 2024, Gunther was able to defend the World Heavyweight Title against Damian Priest due to Finn Balor's interference, which The Ring General didn't appreciate.

The Judgment Day member and the champion were then set to face off at Saturday Night's Main Event, but The Archer of Infamy made his case and Adam Pearce turned it into a triple threat. However, Balor's enemies might also come from outside the ring.

There has been growing tension between The Judgment Day and The Prince for the past few weeks, especially after the latter began targeting the World Heavyweight Title. Due to his attitude in recent weeks, the group may have decided to just remove him instead of bringing more negativity in.

#1. WWE Saturday Night's Main Event might witness another longterm friendship end

One of the singles matches scheduled for the upcoming NBC special is between Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre, which stemmed from the former pairing with Roman Reigns at Survivor Series: WarGames. However, The Scottish Warrior may not be Sami's only worry.

Owens is known to be a longtime enemy of The Bloodline, whether it is led by Roman Reigns or Solo Sikoa. However, this seemed not to bother Zayn after he chose to join the OG Bloodline at WarGames, which obviously bothered Kevin.

At WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, Kevin might appear during Zayn's match against Drew or after it. After acting as if he is there to offer some help to his partner, Owens may attack him instead.
