In the latest WWE NEWS, AJ Styles locked horns with the new US Champion Ricochet on RAW last week. The two men offered a spectacular match as the bout stood out from the rest. The Phenomenal One pinned Richochet and both men showed respect to each other after the bout. Considering Styles defeated the United States Champion, he has a bright possibility to face Ricochet at Extreme Rules.

The recently crowned US Champion had a stupendous night at Stomping Grounds where he won his first main roster title. Styles, on the other hand, didn't perform at Super ShowDown and Stomping Grounds.

Styles has been a babyface for an extended time but a heel turn could rejuvenate his character. The two-time WWE Champion had a remarkable rivalry with Seth Rollins as the two men locked horns at Money in the Bank.
Although Styles hinted heel turn against Rollins, it didn't happen. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who are known as the bad guys, reunited with Styles recently, hence, it will not be surprising if the Phenomenal One turns heel and attacks Ricochet this week.
