Could Styles turn heel at Money in the Bank?
Could Styles turn heel at Money in the Bank?

While WWE has been teasing a heel turn for AJ Styles for the last couple of weeks, I personally don't think it's going to happen anytime before MITB. It just does not seem likely for WWE to give away such a huge angle on an episode of RAW.

AJ Styles is scheduled to face Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank, and a heel turn for The Phenomenal One could very well be on the cards. It is, of course, possible to have Styles make the move to the dark side later on in the rivalry, especially since the program is barely in its infancy.

While this would add that element of surprise to the pay-per-view, it would also serve as the perfect opportunity for Mr. Money in the Bank to cash in his contract. However, given how WWE seems keen on keeping the Universal title on Rollins' shoulders for a considerable amount of time, AJ Styles could take care of Mr MITB if/when such a situation arises. Adding a third involved party is another way to prolong rivalries, and this could be one of those.
