#2 Kurt Angle & AJ Styles
AJ Styles and Kurt Angle are without a doubt the two best wrestlers in the history of TNA Impact Wrestling.
Both men have done it all in TNA, so much so that the company has often had to come up with filler material for them, just so they would have something to do until creative could think of better. That wasn't the case for AJ Styles here, but was for Kurt Angle.

Styles, at the time, was involved in a long standing feud with the then TNA Tag Team Champions Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. At the Sacrifice pay-per-view, Daniels and Kazarian cost Styles his match against Kurt Angle and during a post match beatdown, Angle made the save.
The two would then form an alliance, which saw them challenge and defeat Daniels and Kazarian for the TNA Tag Team Championships at Slammiversary. Their title reign would last just 18 days before they lost them back to Daniels and Kazarian.
Angle and Styles would still team together for a few more months, having unsuccessful rematches with them at TNA No Surrender and Bound For Glory, before quietly disbanding.
