Andrade "Cien" Almas' run with NXT was an example of overcoming adversity. Despite the fact that Almas was scoring victories over names like Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode, Almas never appeared to be progressing, that is until Zelina Vega came along.
From that point onward, Almas moved up in NXT and was finally promoted to SmackDown Live.
Almas' star power has never been higher, and the next step is to name Almas the 2019 Royal Rumble winner. Andrade has had great bouts with current WWE Champion AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, and The Miz.
A win for Almas at the Royal Rumble would demonstrate that the future of WWE is unquestionably here.
