2) Daniel Bryan and/or The Miz will challenge The Fiend for the Universal Championship
At Survivor Series, The Fiend successfully retained the Universal Championship against Daniel Bryan. Though he won clean against the former WWE Champion, don’t be surprised if he isn’t finished with Bryan.
The Fiend accomplished one thing, and that was to get Bryan to give in to the YES Movement once again. While it failed to earn Bryan the win, it did add to the story if WWE wants to continue it. However, there is one more element to this story, and that is The Miz.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
The Miz has essentially been involved in the Bryan-Fiend feud since it started. As reported by Dave Meltzer, the original plan for Survivor Series was for Miz to take on the Fiend for the Universal Championship, not Bryan. However, due to travel issues, plans changed
He had Bryan on MizTV when the feud started, and confronted Bryan last week before they had a match. At Survivor Series, Miz gave Bryan pep talks before the Universal title match. There has to be a reason Miz is so involved in this feud, and it's probably because he will be challenging the Fiend at some point.
WWE can go about these two ways. The first way is to just do a one on one match between the Fiend and Bryan or the Fiend v. The Miz. Since Bryan lost clean to the Fiend, a Miz match would make the most sense. The other way is to have a #1 contender match between Miz and Bryan on an episode of SmackDown, but it ends in a no contest when the Fiend attacks them both. This sets up the Triple Threat Match for the TLC pay per view.
