Rollins needs no introduction. He is indeed one of the best in the world. He is a former NXT Champion, Tag Team Champion, United States Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, Money in the Bank winner and current Intercontinental Champion.
Will all those accomplishments, it seems like he doesn’t really need another title in the WWE to prove his value. However, it is possible that The Shield will stick together for some time to come, while Rollins will be losing his Intercontinental Championship sooner or later.

In that case, Rollins could win the World Cup to keep The Shield’s trophy case filled and also boost his own and the teams’ value. Rollins is already ranked number 5 on PWI’s list of top wrestlers in the business, and a further push will do no harm to his already glittering reputation.
