Could the Impact World Champion hold gold in the WWE?

The current Impact World Champion, many fans expected John Morrison to hold World title gold in the WWE. Winning the third season of Tough Enough, Morrison would become one of the show's most successful stars, perhaps only seconded by The Miz.

With his incredible in-ring ability and likability, Morrison worked wonders in WWE, holding the ECW, Tag Team and Intercontinental Championships. Unfortunately, he would never hold the WWE or World Heavyweight Championships and was released in late 2011, his departure later addressed on TV by John Laurinaitis.
