Asuka as the RAW Women's Champion

If Sasha Banks isn't going to turn heel, we could see a scenario where her opponent Asuka turns heel. There have been rumors about her tag team partner Kairi Sane wrapping up her WWE career and heading back to Japan to be with her husband and also having a role as an ambassador for WWE in the far east.

It would be unfortunate, but those rumors seem to be further confirmed when Kairi Sane told Asuka on RAW Talk that she's ready to challenge her for the RAW Women's Championship if she beats Sasha Banks.

The rumors suggested that Asuka vs Kairi Sane could be the direction for SummerSlam. It would likely be a match with little build, but an incredible in-ring contest nonetheless.

To add some fire to that feud, Asuka would have to turn heel. Being the woman responsible for retiring Kairi Sane would be huge for her resume, but there's admittedly one problem - the requirement of a top female babyface on RAW.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baslzer are already there on the heel side, so if Asuka were to turn heel, it would leave a major slot open.
