In June 2014, Seth Rollins produced one of the most memorable WWE moments of the decade when he started swinging steel and turning heel the night after The Shield defeated Evolution at Payback.

Two months later, Rollins and fellow Shield member Dean Ambrose finally went one-on-one, with the then-Money In The Bank holder winning a 10-minute lumberjack match at SummerSlam which ended up taking place all over the arena.

The match was one of the most entertaining at the 2014 SummerSlam event, proving to WWE’s decision-makers that the duo could deliver on the big stage in PPV singles matches going forward.
