#2 Low: Finn Balor injury (2016)

Finn Balor was forced to relinquish the Universal Championship

Finn Balor made his WWE PPV debut at SummerSlam 2016, defeating Seth Rollins for the new Universal Championship, but the night is best remembered for the injury that “The Demon King” suffered early on in the match.

When Rollins executed a powerbomb on his opponent against the ringside barricade, the Irishman sustained a nasty shoulder injury. Although he continued to compete for the rest of the match, he was forced to relinquish the title on Raw the next day and he didn’t return for another eight months.

A female WWE star said her life is in danger. Details HERE

“The Kingslayer” mocked Balor’s injury woes on Raw (in storyline), as you can see from the video below. In reality, however, it’s safe to say that this was definitely one of the low points from Rollins’ past SummerSlam appearances.
