3 Hints WWE dropped on the final SmackDown episode of the year (27 December 2019)

#2 Two titles could be on the line

Having saved The New Day from Shinsuke Nakamura, Cesaro, and Sami Zayn, it's certain that the Monster Among Men has new friends in Kofi Kingston and Big E. This was visible on this week's episode of SmackDown as well.

Strowman and The New Day faced the heel trio in a six-man tag team match this week and picked up an impressive victory. After the win, The Mountain of a Man showed a different side to his character, dancing with The New Day in the squared circle!

With the storyline, WWE hinted at two championship matches that could take place in the future, possibly at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV.

Zayn, who has been a mouthpiece for Nakamura for a while, made his in-ring return last night. Known for his dexterity in the squared circle, the WWE Universe had been vocal about his absence from in-ring action. If Zayn starts to wrestle regularly, he might team up with Cesaro to challenge the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, The New Day.

Strowman, on the other hand, has been engaged in a skirmish with Nakamura and a match between the two for the Intercontinental Championship at Royal Rumble could possibly be on the cards.
