#1 Roman Reigns to gain momentum before Royal Rumble
Even though Roman Reigns wasn't present on SmackDown last week, he made his presence felt yesterday, not once but twice. The Big Dog sabotaged Baron Corbin in the opening segment, taking him out from the Triple Threat Match. Due to the interference from Corbin's cronies, the match ended in a double disqualification in the first attempt. The bout took place again in the main event, and Reigns showed up once again.
The match then became a one-on-one match between Daniel Bryan and The Miz, as King Corbin's dream to challenge for the Universal Championship shattered with The Big Dog's abrupt attack.
It is clear that the rivalry between the two didn't end at TLC and is certainly going to continue in the weeks to come. A recent report suggested that Reigns is the favorite to win the Men's Battle Royal match next month, and the Superstar would require to gain some momentum to turn that into reality.
As of now, The Big Dog has unfinished business with Corbin and will be aiming to get back on track by avenging his previous two losses against The King, which will give him the required momentum going into next month's PPV.
