Cena doesn't even have to be a part of the match to jinx it
Baron Corbin has had quite a run in the WWE. He won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal on his debut at 'The Grandest Stage of Them All' by eliminating Kane in the end. He has become a mainstay on the WWE roster and the WWE Universe always look forward to seeing him in action. He is now set to challenge AJ Styles along with 4 other Superstars at Fastlane.

In the Money In The Bank PPV of 2017, Corbin fought off 5 other Superstars to win the briefcase with a contract to challenge the champion anytime he wanted. Corbin has always been a dark horse in both of his iconic wins.
On an episode of SmackDown Live, Corbin interrupted a match between John Cena and Jinder Mahal, attacking his then SummerSlam opponent, John Cena. Corbin later decided to cash in his contract against the then WWE Champion, Mahal. As Mahal was on his way, Cena got on to the ring apron and Corbin attacked Cena instead, knocking him off the apron. Capitalising on the distraction, Mahal quickly rolled Corbin up for the three count and retained his Title.
This incident made Baron Corbin the third Superstar who failed to capture the title after a cash-in, and the second Superstar to outright lose a cash-in match. Courtesy, John Cena.

Kishan Prasad
Kishan is a WWE writer at Sportskeeda Wrestling and has been associated with the division for 8.5 years. Even though he doesn't work at Sportskeeda on a full-time basis, writing about wrestling keeps his passion for the sport alive. He reports on important updates from wrestlers and rumors from trustworthy sources.
Kishan recalls the best match he witnessed when he was just 6 – the Hell in a Cell Match at Armageddon 2000. Watching the six men push each other to their limits and then some made him realize how incredible pro wrestling is.
He graduated as a Chemical Engineer a few years before he began his journey with Sportskeeda. A couple of years as a non-contracted writer for the website became a full-time opportunity that included managing the pro wrestling division.
Kishan's favorite wrestler is Triple H, as he can pull him into any storyline. In today's era, one can call him a Seth "Freakin" Rollins fan for the same reason. When he is not writing for Sportskeeda, Kishan works as a digital marketing professional.
