Mandy Rose faced off against The Empress of Tomorrow in the hopes that she could lift her first piece of gold on the main roster, but Rose was unable to overcome Asuka after Sonya Deville's help at ringside actually hindered her.

The ending of the match wasn't the only thing that looked botched as Rose managed to drop Asuka on her face after fighting out of The Octopus submission before Asuka missed a roundhouse kick which was in the center of the ring and hard to miss on the hard cam.

The end of the match then saw Rose trip over the ring apron which Deville had left up, but the issue was that she hadn't left it up far enough so Rose had to push herself backward and then force herself to trip on something that wasn't actually in her way.
