The Miz is a former Money in the Bank winner and successfully cashed in the briefcase beating Randy Orton on Raw in 2010. The Miz arguably wasn't ready for the WWE championship when he won it eight years ago, but there perhaps has never been a better time to put the belt on him than now.

AJ Styles will battle Shinsuke Nakamura match in a Last Man Standing match for the WWE championship, in what will be the third meeting in a row between the two on pay-per-view. If Styles is victorious in this knockdown drag out, then The Miz could be waiting in the wings to cash in his briefcase and take the title from Styles.

WWE could draw out Styles' title run for longer and have Miz cash in at a later date but with AJ's feud with Nakamura seemingly on its last legs, it wouldn't be remiss for a briefcase cash in to occur on the same night.

Whenever the title change should take place, Miz seems like the perfect successor to Styles such has been the notoriety he has gained from his heel run. There are not many Superstars in the WWE right now that can play the heel role as well as The Miz and having him cash in on Styles would be a worthwhile endeavor on WWE's part.
