#2: The Miz made us look at his feud with Shane McMahon from a whole new perspective

We were always inclined to look at The Miz as a person who considered himself a part of WWE royalty, as a cowardly heel.
Now that his perspective towards everything has changed, The Miz highlighted an important difference between himself and Shane McMahon.
The Miz fought hard to become a WWE wrestler while also staying relevant through so many years. Despite his character taking too much pride in The Miz's "A-List" status, the man himself comes from quite a humble background, and now it is Shane McMahon at the other end of the equation.
For the first time in a long time, it is The Miz who is grounded in reality, with the support of the WWE Universe, while Shane McMahon's character has become what every McMahon eventually becomes (in character): an egomaniac.
It will certainly be interesting to see where this feud takes off from here...
