#2 The tremendous amount of filler content bogged down the Pay-Per-View
Hell in a Cell 2019 would have been a lot better if the writers came up with unique and unexpected scenarios aside from the pre-announced matches.
However, viewers were subject to an extended series of filler matches, especially during the middle portion of the event.
The 24/7 title sequences were decent, but they couldn't override a situation where people had to sit through Chad Gable vs. Baron Corbin once again.
On a side note, even Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley (one of the pre-announced matches) for the SmackDown Women's Championship felt like a drag, and Flair became the champion yet again.
Perhaps Charlotte Flair is a more notable champion for the blue brand since it has moved to FOX, given her history with the belt. But Bayley's post-match breakdown was uncomfortable to watch.
Of course, all of this would reach to a tipping point during the end of the main event, but it wasn't all bad...
