The Beast Incarnate conquered Finn Balor, as expected
The Beast Incarnate conquered Finn Balor, as expected

At this point in Brock Lesnar's career, it comes off as no surprise that the Beast Incarnate has a history of putting on excellent contests with smaller competitors.

Finn Balor put up a valiant effort against Brock Lesnar last night, but ultimately, Goliath (Lesnar) annihilated David (Balor), just like Vince McMahon had predicted. Despite the fact that the villain conquered here, many fans witnessed a good contest, which also drew a lot of audible gasps from a crowd that should have worn themselves out at that point in the show.

Moreover, WWE has created a protective aura around him. To keep it short, the 'David vs. Goliath' scenario works in favour with Brock Lesnar simply because he brings a different background to this situation as compared to rest of the main roster.

The very fact that we go into his matches thinking that the underdog stands no chance shows how strong of a character Brock Lesnar is, and ultimately, fans are thrilled to see a back-and-forth between Lesnar and his smaller competitor no matter what the result may be...
