#1: Introducing Lacey Evans as the main event's Special Guest Referee was a sensible booking decision

The main event of WWE Stomping Grounds was entertaining from start-to-finish.

One would think that Baron Corbin vs. Seth Rollins does not sound like an entertaining main event on paper, but some smart booking decisions can make the dullest idea seem even more exciting.

Introducing Lacey Evans as the main event's special guest referee elevated two major plot points:

1) Seth Rollins' main motive was to obliterate anyone who chose to become the Special Guest Referee for this match, but he cannot hit a woman, and this made matters both interesting and complicated at the same time

2) Lacey Evans' feud with Becky Lynch was also showcased perfectly during the main event. This is a great example of how to successfully integrate two major feuds together at the same time.

Moreover, fans had not expected Lacey Evans to be Corbin's pick as Special Guest Referee in the first place, so that was exciting.

We also witnessed a final few moments of Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins ending the Pay-Per-View on a high note, so it all ends well for the time being.
