#1: Why Brock Lesnar's future as WWE Champion just became intriguing
The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar went toe-to-toe with The Master of the 619, Rey Mysterio at last night's Pay-Per-View.
Even though predicting the winner here was an easy task, the match ended up being a small, but effective dose of wrestling and entertainment that one expects from a Brock Lesnar match nowadays.
Both Rey Mysterio and his son, Dominik had a great moment together. But it still doesn't change the fact that Lesnar defeated Mysterio even with the No Holds Barred stipulation playing against his favor.
This seems to have put an end to future Lesnar vs. Mysterio matches as of now. Rey Mysterio got a small moment of revenge against the WWE Champion alongside his son, and that's about it.
Cain Velasquez and Brock Lesnar are likely to face each other again in a rubber match, perhaps next year.
But until that happens, Brock Lesnar doesn't have any sustainable babyface opponents left to fight, unless the writers can find another reason to extend The Beast Incarnate's rivalry with Rey Mysterio.
Then again, WWE could rehash another saga of Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar's shenanigans, but as of now, Rollins' status in front of the fans can tip over at any given night.
The most obvious decision they could make is to not have Lesnar booked for TLC at all. Let us hope that's not the case, and we at least get one last WWE Title match before the year ends.
