#1: Why Daniel Bryan returned as an old version of himself to attack "Fun House" Bray Wyatt out of nowhere
As for the "end of the decade" challenges, Daniel Bryan looked the same at TLC 2019 as he did at the start of this decade.
After The Fiend ripped out his hair on SmackDown a few weeks ago, Bryan returned as a version of himself that derives a lot from several gimmicks in his WWE career.

At 38 years old, Bryan wrestles more effectively than most of the younger talent on the roster. Unlike Finn Balor and Seth Rollins, it appears as if "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt actually "healed" Bryan in the process.
Not only does the former Planet's Champion appear more sharp and agile than before, but with the "YES" Movement also being resurrected into existence, Bryan has all the momentum behind him right now.
This rivalry has also got to be the most intelligent WWE feud of the year.
"Fun House" Bray Wyatt is being booked as a separate entity from "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. You can make out how different both characters are in terms of body language and in-ring psychology too.
So, "Fun House" Bray Wyatt had no other choice but to retreat (or be saved by The Fiend) at the end because The Fiend might have indirectly created the best version of Daniel Bryan we have seen in years.
