On the last edition of Monday Night Raw, the acting General Manager of Raw, Baron Corbin, announced that Roman will be defending his Universal title against Lesnar and Strowman in a triple threat match at WWE Crown Jewel. Thus this week may feature the continuation of same The Shield vs the heel trio storyline.

However, WWE could have Lesnar return in the main event of the show, and lay waste to everyone, stamping his authority in the process.
