Kenny Omega is one of the best wrestlers in the world. The former IWGP Heavyweight Champion is the hottest talent that WWE would undoubtedly want to sign. His matches with Kazuchika Okada were some of the best matches in the world of wrestling.

There is no doubt that WWE wants Omega, and will probably try to sign him with the company. It would surprise a lot of people to learn that Omega was actually signed to the WWE in 2005 but he requested his release 1 year later in August 2006.

Even if you don’t watch New Japan Pro Wrestling, you may have definitely heard Omega’s name. Omega's signing would bring WWE one step closer to take control over the pro wrestling industry.

But there has been speculation that Omega will join his former Bullet club buddies, Cody and The Young Bucks, at AEW. Here are 3 main reasons why Kenny Omega won't join WWE:

#3 Inconsistent booking

WWE has a history of consistently dropping the ball with some of its best talent. Out of the three Bullet Club leaders currently in WWE, only one of them has been booked the way he deserves and that is AJ Styles. That is also probably because Styles has reached a point where he transcends any factions of stables.

Finn Balor has been a mid-card superstar after a brief ascent to the top of the card as the 1st ever Universal Champion, while Anderson and Gallows have done nothing of note in the tag team division since he debuted. Many talented superstars such a Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura have also suffered since joining the main roster.

Omega must have had a look at how these superstars have been booked which may worry and it would be a massive shame if he headed down the same route.

#2 Will not get freedom to perform all his moves

Omega is one of the most gifted performers in bro wrestling but moving to WWE could potentially hinder his ability to perform at the best of his abilities. On January 4th at New Japan's Wrestle Kingdom 11, Omega and Okada stunned the audience in attendance with one of the greatest matches of all time.

His match at Wrestle Kingdom 11 ran for almost 47 minutes with a glorious build-up and fantastic in-ring psychology on display. Omega won't be afforded the freedom to have a match like this in WWE. He may not be given the green light to use a number of moves in his arsenal due to safety reasons and this could very well include his finisher.

Omega's rise to prominence as a result of his fantastic in-ring ability but signing for the WWE would leave him hamstrung and prevent him from performing at a level he is capable of.

#1 It would kill NJPW

WCW and ECW were both legitimate alternatives to WWE. For all those wrestling fans who were tired of Vince McMahon's product, they were good options, but over time both those promotions proved to be unsustainable before folding up.

With Impact Wrestling also struggling as of now, the only alternative is New Japan Pro Wrestling. Over the last few years, NJPW has lost some of its biggest stars in the form of Finn Balor, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

The promotion, however, have handled those losses pretty well and have even managed to increase their viewership over time. But if Omega joins WWE, it could effectively kill off all the momentum New Japan has built. Omega may not want to do that to the promotion that built him, while AEW is also a legitimate option for him.
