In order to fully focus on the newly revitalized XFL brand (set to officially take off in 2020 under the umbrella of McMahon's newly established company Alpha Entertainment), Vince McMahon will step down and hand over the 'keys to the kingdom' to heir apparent, Triple H. For many years now, Vince's son-in-law has appeared to be the most logical choice to continue his legacy. This could lead to a dramatic, overarching feud against Vince's only son Shane McMahon -- as the two could battle for control over the company- running through SummerSlam 2019, or even next year's WrestleMania.

Triple H has been groomed to fill Vince's shoes for many years, taking the top leadership and production position of WWE's highly acclaimed developmental territory NXT (strong enough since it's explosion in 2014 to be classified as third brand-- often surpassing the quality seen on Monday Night RAW and Smackdown Live).
