WWE's upcoming Premium Live Event, SummerSlam, is less than three weeks away, and the match card for the event has started taking shape. During the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Rhea Ripley challenged Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at SummerSlam, which Liv accepted.
In the main event of the show, Sami Zayn put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Ilja Dragunov. However, an interference by Bron Breakker meant that the match ended with no result. This signals that WWE may be heading for a Triple Threat match for the title at The Biggest Party of the Summer.
Here are three more matches that could be added to the SummerSlam match card based on what transpired on RAW.

#3. Zelina Vega vs Shayna Baszler
The tag team of Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark has been unable to get over with the WWE Universe despite their talent. The duo was getting quite stale with their presentation. However, Sonya Deville's introduction into the group has brought some much-needed spark.
During the latest episode of RAW, Sonya Deville faced LWO's Zelina Vega in a singles match. Zelina had a good flurry at the beginning, but that was short-lived. Shayna Baszler got involved when the referee was distracted, brutally attacking Zelina's elbow on the ring apron. This allowed Sonya to take advantage and execute her finisher, The Deville's Advocate, to secure the win.
Zelina will not be happy with this. There is a possibility that Zelina will want to get even with Shayna Baszler for causing the interference. A match-up between Zelina and Shayna at SummerSlam would be great for both of them, especially Shayna Baszler, who needs the momentum to get back to the top of the women's division.
#2. Sheamus vs Pete Dunne
Pete Dunne made his WWE main roster debut in 2022 and aligned himself with Sheamus and Ridge Holland as part of The Brawling Brutes. The faction was involved in some major programs with Imperium and The Bloodline during their time on SmackDown.
However, things went south when Sheamus suffered an injury last year. Holland and Dunne went their separate ways later, with Dunne reuniting with Tyler Bate to form New Catch Republic.
Sheamus made his return from injury after WrestleMania 40 as a part of the Monday Night RAW roster. New Catch Republic was also drafted to the red brand during the WWE Draft. Last week, when Dunne was being attacked by Bronson Reed, Sheamus made his way out to make the save. However, when he went to hug Dunne, Dunne shoved The Celtic Warrior and left, leaving Sheamus confused.
During this week's episode of RAW, Dunne came out to save Sheamus from Reed. However, he then shockingly turned and attacked Sheamus, allowing Reed to inflict more damage. The reason behind Dunne's turn on his mentor remains unknown yet intriguing. This could be one of the feuds WWE decides to showcase at SummerSlam, which would certainly be a banger.
#1. Chad Gable vs Otis
The Alpha Academy had become one of the most featured factions on WWE television since WrestleMania 40. The shocking heel turn by Chad Gable was the much-needed spark the group needed to take it to the next level. Gable's abusive and manipulative behavior towards the rest of the group made them sympathetic babyfaces, especially Otis, who was getting loud reactions from the fans.
However, it seems that WWE has dropped the ball with this program over the last few weeks. The rest of the Alpha Academy has separated themselves from their master, Chad Gable. Many fans expected a potential match between Gable and Otis down the line, but that hasn't materialized yet.
With the Creed Brothers joining Gable during RAW this week, it could be the perfect time to reignite the rivalry between Gable and Otis for SummerSlam. This feud has interest among the fans and would be a good time to end their rivalry at the Biggest Party of the Summer.
