#2 Mistake WWE made: The predictable SmackDown main-event

WWE has struck gold with the heel turn of Roman Reigns and everything that he has done on SmackDown as the Universal Champion ever since. However, this week's show didn't live up to the mark. At the very beginning of the show, WWE set-up a massive main event for the night with Paul Heyman challenging Adam Pearce to a match.

However, the entire 'card is subject to change' angle was just way too predictable. Even Kevin Owens appearing in a hoodie to attack Roman Reigns in the main event after claiming earlier that he wasn't allowed to enter the arena was too predictable. Also, Jey Uso missed the show without any explanation and there was no follow-up on the massive tease of Apollo Crews joining hands with Reigns last week.

#2 WWE got right: Bianca Belair's astonishing feat of strength

Ad

The obstacle course challenge on WWE SmackDown this week between Bayley and Bianca Belair was a fun segment. Bayley played her part as the annoying heel to perfection. However, it was Bianca Belair who left the WWE Universe in shock with her display of strength as she picked up Otis, who weighs well over 300 pounds.

Bianca Belair is definitely one of the WWE Superstars to watch out for at the upcoming Royal Rumble 2021 match. Last year, she eliminated as many as eight women from the Royal Rumble match, setting up a record that was matched later that night by Shayna Baszler. Can she break her own record this year and go all the way to win the match?
