WWE loves bringing in people from outside the business to squash their Superstars, for some apparent reason.

The company had the potential to turn him into an unstoppable force and give him a run as Universal Champion, but they've dropped the ball, once again. After this match, regardless of who wins, Strowman is going to continue competing in WWE while Fury will collect his cheque and return to boxing.
Strowman recently lost a match to Seth Rollins at Clash of Champions, and the worst thing that could happen is for him to be squashed by a man who has never wrestled in a WWE ring before. Strowman needs to win this match. WWE must not make the mistake of making him lose to Fury in a matter of minutes (or seconds).
