Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return at WWE SummerSlam to a huge, positive reaction from the audience as he attacked Solo Sikoa. While many are hyped that the Original Tribal Chief has returned, things could go sideways fast.

At WrestleMania 40, Cody Rhodes ended Roman Reigns' 1,316-day run as the Undisputed WWE Champion. The Head of the Table wasn't seen on television since and Solo Sikoa took control of The Bloodline. The New Tribal Chief kicked out Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman and added Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. The former North American Champion also kept badmouthing Reigns in his absence, and Roman finally made his thoughts known at SummerSlam by attacking his cousin.

For this list, we will look at three mistakes WWE should not make now that Roman Reigns has returned to being a babyface.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#3. Have the entire locker room immediately side with Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns has been the only Tribal Chief for around the past four years in the Stamford-based promotion. He gained the moniker by fighting not just his family, but by being ahead of everybody in the locker room, one way or the other.

The Head of the Table has a history with the RAW and SmackDown locker rooms. He injured Randy Orton, had an intense rivalry with Cody Rhodes, kicked out Jey Uso, and cost Drew McIntyre the Undisputed Title at Clash at the Castle 2022 via Solo interfering. It would be surprising if, after everything, the locker room would just immediately welcome and trust Reigns again.

WWE should not rush for the locker room to side with Roman against Solo and should take time, much like for Jey when he joined the RAW roster last year.

#2. Make Roman Reigns invincible

The main reason Roman was able to fend off his opponents for the past couple of years as champion is because of The Bloodline. He had The Usos to rely on, Paul Heyman, and even Solo Sikoa. Now that he is alone, for now, he is no longer untouchable.

Although Reigns is a veteran, and undoubtedly has more accomplishments than Solo, the latter has The Bloodline to watch his back and Roman is outnumbered. When a brawl ensues between the group and the Original Tribal Chief, his only way out is by escaping them or if somebody makes the save for Roman.

#1. Roman Reigns cutting promos directly about pleasing fans

The former Undisputed Champion has not only challenged the locker room for the past few years but also the crowd. He insults them any chance he gets and even taunts them now and then.

Although fans now have a positive reaction to Roman, the Superstar shouldn't immediately start 'doing things for them.' At the end of the day, it is the same crowd that booed Roman when he was a face and forced him to be a villain. If anything, Reigns should simply play an anti-hero for a bit.
