No one had the slightest idea as to what was going to happen that night in New Orleans. The moment Brock delivered his third F5 to The Deadman and pinned him in the middle of the ring, the sea of 70,000 fans gasped in unison. This was followed by a long stretch of silence as no one believed that the streak was history.
Brock Lesnar immediately became the most hated superstar in the WWE, and Paul Heyman's constant reminders about The Beast breaking The Undertaker's streak didn't sit well with the fans too.
It took Lesnar squashing John Cena at Summerslam 2014 to calm the fans down and begin to revere him again. But what followed was the 5-year long reign of terror, which is still going strong and is expected to come to an end at WrestleMania 35 at the hands of Seth Rollins.
