This week's edition of WWE Monday Night RAW (26th November 2018) was pretty uneventful, to say the least, many critics have slammed it for being one of the worst Monday Night RAWs of 2018.
However, there are always a few subtle moments that the audiences might overlook due to WWE's weekly schedule of programming. Make sure to send in your thoughts in the comments section below if you want to point out other obscure & interesting moments from this week's RAW.
With TLC 2018 inching closer than ever before, here are a few moments that you might have missed from the 26th November 2018 edition of Monday Night RAW...
#3: Matt Hardy teased a return to RAW on Twitter
Last night, not only did Baron Corbin abuse his authority so as to influence the show's outcome, but he also elected Alexa Bliss to become the head in charge of the entire RAW Womens' roster following her brilliant captaincy stint from Survivor Series.
This made a lot of people question about the amount of improvisation on this week's episode overshadowing proper storytelling. One of those people on Social Media to do so was Matt Hardy, the now-retired Professional Wrestler, and one half of the Hardy Boyz, insisting that perhaps only one man can fix the 'broken' state of Monday Night RAW, referring to himself as the savior that RAW deserves.
The tweet was posted as seen below:
Of course, this left the WWE Universe buzzing with speculation. Perhaps Matt Hardy could return to Monday Night RAW as a possible opposition to Baron Corbin's highly controversial decisions as 'Acting General Manager'. What do you think? #2: Dean Ambrose's heel turn has put Renee Young in an awkward position for several weeks
One of the most awkward situations on Monday Night RAW these days is the weekly exchange between commentators after every heinous act committed by Dean Ambrose.
This is primarily because we all know that Renee Young is married to Dean Ambrose in real-life, and this prompts Corey Graves to call-out Renee Young into providing some 'inside scoop' on whatever is going inside Dean Ambrose's head.
Renee swears that she is in the same boat as Corey Graves, Michael Cole, and several others when it comes to explaining Dean Ambrose's actions. However, these bits always end with Graves portraying a situation where he knows that Young is hiding something from everyone.
While Dean's somewhat fictionalized WWE Network Special doesn't really go in-depth when it comes to his relationship with Renee Young, we can all assume that there is something really odd about this whole scenario.
Either Renee Young is hiding something from everyone, or maybe she genuinely has no clue about what really 'goes on inside Dean's head', that is, only in WWE's kayfabe bubble.
#1: Ronda Rousey stumbles during promo because of an audible heckler
Of course, one could list several things wrong about last night's episode when it came to various promos embedded in between, most notably an on-air segment between Nia Jax & Ronda Rousey, where the latter chose to interrupt the 'Irresistible Force' during the show.
Following several mixed fan reactions since her match against Charlotte Flair from Survivor Series, last night's show was supposed to prove whether or not the unnecessary backlash for Ronda Rousey would seep its way into future episodes as well.
While the reactions were mostly positive, thanks to her feud against Nia Jax, there was one moment where Ronda stumbled right at the very beginning because of an audible heckler in the audience.
If you listen closely, then it is quite easy to make out that someone in the audience clearly yelled- "You're not making sense" so loudly, that even Rousey looked towards the particular direction from where the sound emanated and went off-script by thanking the audience for their support soon after the heckling had stopped.
Nia Jax & Ronda Rousey had a few awkward exchanges around that incident on live TV, and despite the "Ronda" chants that soon followed, it was hard to forget that last night's show had various problems when it came to on-air promos and standalone segments.
