Wrestlemania 35: 3 Most probable endings

Wrestlemania 35 goes live on April 7th
Wrestlemania 35 goes live on April 7th

We have had quite a few shockers delivered this past week in the lead up to Wrestlemania 35. Kofi Kingston has finally been added to the WWE Championship match against current champion Daniel Bryan, while a four-way battle for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship was announced, with Bayley and Sasha Banks defending their title against The IIconics, Natalya and Beth Phoenix, and Nia Jax and Tamina. We also had shockers with Triple H putting his career at stake in his match against Batista, and a Falls Count Anywhere stipulation added to the match between The Miz and Shane McMahon.

But arguably the biggest development was Charlotte Flair defeating Asuka for the SmackDown Live Women's Championship just two weeks before Wrestlemania. The fans were constantly wondering why there was no development for a match for Asuka's belt at Wrestlemania, and now the belt has been taken off her.

With the triple threat between newly crowned champion Charlotte Flair, current Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch being declared as the main event for this year's Wrestlemania, let us take a look at the possible way the event can close.

#1 Title Unification

Becky might have it all at the end of WM
Becky might have it all at the end of WM

Becky Lynch is the hottest superstar in the entire WWE right now. It is a no-brainer that if WWE wants to end Wrestlemania on a note that makes the fans happy, Becky must win the triple threat match and close WrestleMania with chants of "Becky!" around the MetLife stadium. The rumor that Becky is going to win the main event has been around for a while, but we might see a title unification with Charlotte putting her title on the line as well in this match.

This is supported by a couple of observations. The line between the blue and red brands has blurred quite a bit in the past few weeks. Becky and Charlotte, both SmackDown superstars have appeared on Raw quite a few times. We have also seen Samoa Joe appear on Raw, and Kurt Angle appear on SmackDown Live. We could very well be headed to the end of the brand segregation post-Wrestlemania, and the title unification could be a step towards that.

Will Becky have it all at the end of Wrestlemania 35?

#2 Becky and Ronda stand tall

Can we see double Champions at Wrestlemania?
Can we see double Champions at Wrestlemania?

One thing to note about WWE is that they protect their top-draw stars incredibly well. And top-draw, I mean superstars who have established their own mainstream presence and brand outside the WWE. Ronda Rousey's fame is very reminiscent of current Univeral Champion Brock Lesnar. Both of them have earned an incredible amount of fame in the MMA circuit fighting in the UFC before signing, or in Brock's case, coming back to the WWE.

Ronda, like Brock, is an incredible draw for non-WWE fans to explore the product. Both their names open valuable connections to the mainstream media, and we all know how much WWE loves that.

Brock Lesnar has been incredibly well protected by WWE. He took away Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak and has defeated many top superstars without suffering a single defeat. It is almost certain that Brock is losing his title to Seth Rollins at Wrestlemania. That leaves Ronda.

This is Ronda's first Wrestlemania match, and WWE rightfully might want to protect her. The way out would be for Becky to beat Charlotte instead of Ronda to win the match. Since Becky would have pinned Charlotte, she would win the Smackdown Live Women's Champion, with Ronda still being the Raw Women's Champion. It gives way for crowd-favorite Becky Lynch to stand tall at the end of Wrestlemania while protecting Ronda Rousey.

This also paves way for an inter-brand feud between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch, which would conclude with a title unification match down the line possibly at Survivor Series.

#3 The original Four Horsewomen

A long-standing discussion has been the "horsewomen versus horsewomen" match between Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks and Bayley against Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke, and Shayna Baszler. WWE may plan to take the lay the groundwork for that storyline at the end of this year's Wrestlemania.

For this to happen, Bayley and Sasha Banks would retain their titles in their four-way match. And at the main event, Becky Lynch would pin Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship, while Charlotte will still hold the SmackDown Live Women's Championship. This would prompt Sasha Banks and Bayley to come out and the four horsewomen would reunite, would every women's title available around their waists.

The defeated Ronda Rousey would call upon her ex-MMA comrades, thus setting the platform for what would be a year-long feud culminating in the fabled "horsewomen versus horsewomen" match at the Wrestlemania next year.
