Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth are one of the best-known couples in WWE history. Elizabeth met Savage when she was working as an announcer for International Championship Wrestling and the couple later went on to marry in 1984.

The couple later joined WWE, then known as the World Wrestling Federation and in 1991, as part of their on-screen storyline, Randy Savage proposed to his wife. Miss Elizabeth accepted and the couple officially married as part of "A Match Made in Heaven" at SummerSlam in 1991.
The wedding didn't go without problems since Jake "The Snake" Roberts and The Undertaker crashed the ceremony. Miss Elizabeth famously opened one of the wedding gifts which contained a snake and it scared the life out of here, this was obviously put there by Roberts and later led to Savage moving into a feud with Roberts following the ceremony.
The following year, Savage and Elizabeth officially divorced in real life, the couple went on to work together alongside Hulk Hogan a few years later in WWE. Elizabeth and Savage went on to remarry before their untimely deaths.
