#1 WrestleMania 35
SmackDown 1000 was a very good event which saw many stars who had played a vital role in the development of SmackDown over the years return to the blue brand to make a statement. These stars included Edge, Rey Mysterio, Shane McMahon, the McMahon family, and The Undertaker among others.
Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?
One of the most iconic returns was that of Evolution. The team of Batista, Ric Flair, Triple H, and Randy Orton didn’t do much except walk out to the ring and talk about their time performing, entertaining, dominating, and being the best.
The important thing that came out from the segment was Batista’s claim that Triple H had never beaten him one-on-one. This wasn’t just a simple statement, as it was surely seen as a seed planted to grow into one of the fiercest rivalries to come.
It was expected that the end of the rivalry would come at a main-event match at WrestleMania 35, the plans for the match will have to be shelved if Triple H’s injury is as severe as it looks at the moment.
This can prove to be the biggest jolt that the WWE will face after Roman Reigns’ exit, as the rivalry could have worked out extremely well and resulted in an epic battle.
