Samoa Joe has been in the title picture for the various championships on the main roster quite a few times but has failed to win even once. The WWE could change his fortunes by handing him his first main roster title at the event to make the event more successful and memorable for the fans.
The two men have had some intense matches in the past, and it seemed likely that Joe would beat Styles in at least one match to win the championship. However, that didn’t happen but could happen in Saudi Arabia.
While it would be a bad booking decision to have Styles lose the championship to his former rival, WWE has made such mistakes in the past, and some have even led to some great storylines.
