3 Possible Matches for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35

Who will walk out of the elimination chamber as the WWE Champion?
Who will walk out of the elimination chamber as the WWE Champion?

The WWE Championship scene, lately, has been pretty chaotic. While a little chaos always makes for interesting storylines and segments, but the WWE Championship needs a solid feud for WrestleMania.

AJ Styles challenged Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble for the title. Just when it seemed he was about to win his 3rd WWE Championship, Rowan (who is apparently Bryan's intellectual peer) interfered and attacked Styles.

Last week on SmackDown, Triple H announced that Daniel Bryan would be defending his title against 5 other men inside the Elimination Chamber. These men are AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, and Mustafa Ali.

All of these are great wrestlers and their encounter inside the chamber should be very interesting. But this whole match seems a little too rushed.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

On RAW, the world title picture for WrestleMania is already set. Seth Rollins won the Royal Rumble two weeks ago and will challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania. But on the other hand, the WWE Championship match for the grandest stage of them all is still unclear.

We are sure that at least one of the superstars competing in this chamber match (most probably, Daniel Bryan) will definitely be in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania.

This article speculates 3 possible WWE Championship matches that could happen at WrestleMania 35. Feel free to comment and let us know which match would you be most interested in.

#1 Daniel Bryan vs Rey Mysterio

Daniel Bryan vs Rey Mysterio is a dream match for many!
Daniel Bryan vs Rey Mysterio is a dream match for many!

Last week on SmackDown, when the participants of the Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship were announced, fans couldn't help but notice one major name missing. Yes, we are talking about the master of the 619, Rey Mysterio.

Ever since his return to WWE last year on SmackDown 1000, Mysterio has been consistently putting on some fabulous matches. His recent matches with Andrade were appreciated by fans and critics worldwide.

Rey Mysterio is one of the greatest in-ring performers in the company's history. Even at the age of 44, he is still in great shape and hasn't lost a bit of agility in the ring.

While his exclusion from the WWE Championship match at Elimination Chamber is surprising, it could very well mean that there are bigger plans for him. WWE could very well be planning a Mysterio vs Bryan match for WrestleMania.

For all his contributions to the world of pro wrestling, Mysterio deserves to have one last run at the top. The match in itself would be great with Mysterio's high flying offense complementing Bryan's technical style.

#2 Samoa Joe vs Daniel Bryan

This would be a very interesting feud!
This would be a very interesting feud!

Daniel Bryan and Samoa Joe are no strangers to each other. They've known each other since their time in Ring of Honor. No one has any doubt about their wrestling abilities either. This pair, if given proper time, can tear the roof apart at WrestleMania 35.

Samoa Joe, in my opinion, has a good chance of walking out of the Elimination Chamber as the WWE Champion. Joe is one of the best wrestlers in the world. In his short career in NXT, he became one of the greatest NXT superstars ever.

From being the first man to become a two-time NXT Champion, to be the first person to defeat the Demon King in WWE, Joe has had quite a great time in NXT. But when it comes to the main roster, sadly he hasn't been able to continue that.

Joe is yet to win a title on the main roster. He had quite an interesting rivalry with AJ Styles last year but was unsuccessful in winning the title even after challenging him multiple times.

Recently, he's been booked as a clear monster, a machine that wants to evoke wreckage on anything and everything in his way. It'd be great if he walks out of the chamber as the WWE Champion. It's about time he gets his top spot on the main roster.

Daniel Bryan can then win a qualification match or something, considering the automatic rematch clause is no more there. Joe can then go on to defeat him and claim his WrestleMania moment, and establish his dominance.

#3 Daniel Bryan vs John Cena

One more time!
One more time!

John Cena is undoubtedly one of the greatest of all time, even Vince himself is recently referring to him by this name only. The guy already is a 16-time World Champion, tieing the record with Ric Flair.

Cena currently has no match scheduled for WrestleMania. He's been rumored to face Drew McIntyre or Lars Sullivan for some time now, but that might not be the case. With Cena focusing more and more on his Hollywood career, the WWE creative team would surely have the plans in mind to make him a 17-time World Champion before he moves to Hollywood as a full-time actor.

A moment as big as this surely needs to happen at the grandest stage of them all. Having John Cena challenge and beat Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania will benefit WWE in many ways. The feud would be awesome and will surely increase the ratings and viewership for WWE, something they are in dire need of.

Cena is hands down one of the greatest promo cutters in WWE. His segments with a heel Daniel Bryan would make SmackDown a must-see show. Not to mention, the mainstream attention that Cena will get is something WWE needs for its WrestleMania season.

SmackDown roster currently lacks a bigtime Babyface who can challenge the heel Daniel Bryan for the title. Having Cena face him and ultimately dethrone him to become a record-breaking 17-time World Champion would be a "best-for-business" decision.
