WWE Superstar Bronson Reed made a statement on the latest episode of Monday Night RAW after a vicious assault on Seth Rollins. Reed brutally assaulted The Visionary after the latter's segment with CM Punk and Drew McIntyre.
Seth Rollins had to be hospitalized, and it remains to be seen if he sustained any serious injuries and whether they will keep him out for a few weeks. RAW General Manager Adam Pearce provided no update on the condition of the former World Heavyweight Champion, but he is expected to address the incident next week.
With that in mind, we take a look at the possible outcomes of Big Bronson Reed's vicious assault on Seth Rollins:
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#3. Suspension
Suspension is the most likely scenario and could happen should Seth Rollins miss a few weeks with the injury. Such a development will allow WWE to help Big Bronson Reed maintain the momentum until Rollins is back and then challenge him to a match either on RAW or in a coming premium live event.
In addition, Adam Pearce could suspend him in a similar way he did with Drew McIntyre and reinstate him exactly when Seth Rollins is back from his injury, as he will be out for revenge.
#2. Set a match at Bash in Berlin
This scenario could happen should the former World Heavyweight Champion miss very little time following Reed's assault. The creative team could keep Seth Rollins out for a couple of weeks and then bring him back a week before Bash in Berlin to continue the feud and set a match in the next PLE.
That way, Reed will get the push he has been looking for for weeks now and will have a match against a top opponent, as he is looking to become a contender in WWE.
#1. WWE will give Seth Rollins a new storyline amid CM Punk/Drew McIntyre rivalry
As CM Punk and Drew McIntyre continue their rivalry after The Scottish Warrior's victory at SummerSlam, WWE needs to give Rollins a new storyline, and maybe Bronson Reed's assault could be what they want right now.
The Visionary will be out for revenge. Thus, their feud could be extended to the next two or three premium live events (Bash in Berlin, Bad Blood, Crown Jewel), especially if Rollins misses time with an injury following the assault.
Should this happen, Seth could re-ignite the feud with Punk and McIntyre closer to the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event in late November. WWE has already teased the feud between Seth and Punk, which is expected to intensify after Punk hit Rollins with the GTS during the match at SummerSlam.
Still, their rivalry is expected to last for long, and it appears the initial plan is to lead to a match at WrestleMania 41 in April 2025.
That said, fans should expect Adam Pearce to address the situation next week, but the most likely scenario is for Big Bronson Reed to get suspended until The Visionary is back in action.
