#1 Roman Reigns and most of the WWE Universe want the women to headline WrestleMania this year
If one is to believe the rumblings in the professional wrestling community, there is indeed a high probability that this year's edition of WrestleMania would be headlined by a women's matchup.
In fact, ever since we were done with WrestleMania 34 in April of last year, rumors were rife that the WWE could potentially be planning a matchup between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35 in April of 2019. It'd be a truly historic moment when WWE's biggest annual show, WrestleMania, is closed out by the female Superstars.

As fun as WrestleMania 31-34 were, with Roman Reigns closing out the show by headlining the card, both Reigns as well as many in the WWE Universe have been clamoring for the female Superstars to headline WrestleMania this year.
To be honest, of all the reasons we've discussed, in my opinion, the topmost one is that the WWE has to adopt a slow and steady strategy while dealing with Reigns' push in the days to come.
Considering how hated he was by the hardcore professional wrestling fans as well as experts before his revelation in October of last year, the WWE surely wouldn't want to mess his current momentum up by rushing him back into the Universal Title picture and WrestleMania main-event spot right away.
