Sami Zayn showed up on RAW and announced that he would face Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 14. Earlier in the show, The Scottish Warrior cut a promo and explained why he assaulted Sami Zayn and Jey Uso last week.

After RAW General Manager Adam Pearce made the match official, Drew McIntyre came to the stage and assaulted Sami Zayn, raising the stakes for the match at Saturday Night's Main Event.

With that in mind, we take a look at three possible stipulations heading into Saturday's clash.

A former WWE writer just went after JBL for his comments HERE

#3. Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre could face each other inside a Steel Cage

A Steel Cage Match could be a great stipulation for this match, given that things have become personal between the two superstars. Sami Zayn made it clear that he would seek to handle this issue on his own and an outside interference would be unlikely if the match takes place inside a Steel Cage.

It would also be deja vu for the Scottish Warrior, as his last match on live television before his two-month hiatus was inside the Hell in a Cell structure at Back at Bad Blood in early October when he lost to CM Punk.

#2. Loser leaves RAW

It would make sense to add such a stipulation to the match, especially now that the WWE Transfer Window is about to open. If he loses, Sami Zayn could move to SmackDown where he could continue his feud with The New Bloodline, which is far from over, especially after the WarGames Match at Survivor Series.

For Drew McIntyre, a move to SmackDown would open the way for new storylines, as the former World Heavyweight Champion has done a great job as a heel.

A defeat and a move to the blue brand could see him go after the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, aiming to become champion again or re-ignite his feud with The Original Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, who is now a face amid his civil war with Solo Sikoa and The New Bloodline.

#1. An Anything Goes Match

This type of match would certainly make things very interesting, as there would be no disqualification and no count-out in the match, while Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre would be allowed to fight anywhere in the arena.

We saw a similar stipulation during the latest edition of RAW, where Rhea Ripley defeated Raquel Rodriguez, with the reigning Women's World Champion Liv Morgan and number one contender IYO SKY getting involved in the match.

Likewise, Saturday Night's Main Event could see more superstars get involved. For instance, Jey Uso could show up to help his good friend and take revenge on The Scottish Warrior, who assaulted him last week. Jey Uso was not medically cleared to show up on RAW this Monday.

In addition, Seth Rollins and CM Punk, both of whom have a history with Drew McIntyre, could also interfere in the match. They could turn on one another and add more fuel to their feud, which is expected to intensify going forward.
