In 2002 Edge was a face when he and Hulk Hogan began fighting together as a tag team. On a July 4th SmackDown, they won the tag-team titles together. It was a blessing from heaven for Edge, a deep rooted Hulkamaniac, and they held the titles for half a month before dropping them.

Edge would be taken out by sustained injuries, while Hogan was gone the following year. This was a captivating pairing that helped boost Edge as an R-Rated Superstar.
