Who would have thought this guy would be one of the top faces of the flagship show

Judging by his run in the development territory, NXT very few expected Elias Samson (who has dropped his last name) to be the star he is on RAW currently. Portraying a heel character he drew tons of heat as the crowd booed him with deafening loudness.

His unique way of entering the ring and insulting the audience in the arena became one of the best things on RAW. Despite garnering heat during his promos, the crowd used to cheer and answer him loudly whenever Elias asked: "WWE stands for.."

WWE Creative recently turned him face due to his popularity and he can prove to be the next top guy of the company if given a full-fledged push to the top. Some members of WWE Universe have already started comparing Elias to the likes of Stone Cold and The Rock due to his guitarist gimmick and immense popularity in the WWE Universe.
