Incredibly close in real life, both Rey and Eddie managed to wow WWE fans with their high-flying abilities and fast-paced techniques in the ring. Eddie made his way to WWE in 2002, as a part of The Radicalz. A year after WCW was bought off, Rey Mysterio made his WWE debut on SmackDown.

Both captured world titles in the coming years. In 2005, Eddie and Mysterio won the SmackDown Tag Team titles by defeating The Basham Brothers at No Way Out 2005 and went on to have a one-on-one match at WrestleMania 21, despite holding Tag Team gold together.
The duo soon split when Eddie turned on Rey and became a heel. Eddie and Rey had a months-long feud, which ended with Guerrero defeating Mysterio inside a steel cage on an episode of SmackDown.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
