Before Alexa Bliss could go on maternity leave, she was the RAW Women's Champion and naturally competed on the red brand. Hence, it's being assumed that when she makes her return to the Stamford-based promotion, she will be returning to the Adam Pearce-led brand.

However, if one takes time to think, the former nine-time WWE champion should return to the promotion as a member of Friday Night SmackDown. In this article, we will look at three reasons why Bliss must return as a member of the brand led by former TNA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis:

#3. Alexa Bliss can stay away from The Wyatt Sicks

One of Alexa Bliss' best runs in the Stamford-based promotion came alongside late WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt. That's why it's being speculated that when Bliss returns, she will be a part of The Wyatt Sicks storyline. But, realistically, Bliss could have much bigger things on her platter if she returns as a singles competitor and finds her way back after such a long hiatus.

Hence, it makes sense for her to move to SmackDown, as on the blue brand, she won't have anything to do with The Wyatt Sicks. Later, if the Uncle Howdy-led faction gains momentum, Bliss could always join them and create something big on RAW or SmackDown.

#2. Gives a boost to SmackDown

In recent times, it's been noticed that Monday Night RAW has been given a lot more emphasis than Friday Night SmackDown. While this is understandable due to the red brand's shift to Netflix, the promotion will need someone to balance out or at least even the odds for the blue brand.

Alexa Bliss is someone who could do it for the Nick Aldis-led brand. On SmackDown, Bliss could debut a new character/persona, which could give a boost to Friday nights at a time when each episode has just moved to an increased timeslot of three hours. In short, she could end up becoming the face of the blue brand.

#1. Alexa Bliss' singles career could benefit

While Bliss has been missing from action for a long time, she isn't the only female superstar missing. Another big name who hasn't made an appearance on WWE programming, particularly on RAW, is Becky Lynch. Her last appearance came last year against former Women's World Champion, Liv Morgan.

Therefore, when Becky returns, the spotlight will be on her. If Bliss does not want to take the risk of getting too much attention, she should move to SmackDown as it would benefit her singles career while giving her time to get a hang of things again.
