#1 Bad idea: Another part-time championship reign

Lesnar's last reign with the title often saw the WWE Championship disappearing for months off-screen.

It's been four years since Brock Lesnar last held the WWE Championship, but fans remember his reign well. Capturing the title after a dominant display against John Cena at SummerSlam 2014, Lesnar would often spend months away from the company thanks to his part-time schedule, with the richest prize in WWE nowhere to be seen.

This was also the case for Brock's reigns as Universal Champion, as his first two reigns with the red title between 2017-2019 also saw the title disappear from screens, something that infuriated several fans. Plenty of members of the WWE Universe have said that titles should be on full-time Superstars, who are able to defend their gold whenever they are needed.

A Kofi Kingston vs Brock Lesnar feud could mean that the title disappears once again if The Beast is victorious against the New Day star. Kofi, who won the title at WrestleMania 35 in an emotional bout against Daniel Bryan, has been one of the company's most fighting champions, so to see his reign end this way would be a bitter ending.
