#2 Should win the WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar’s potential title feuds with former world champions
It is no secret that Brock Lesnar is incredibly entertaining when he wants to work. While his feuds with Bobby Lashley or Roman Reigns are promising, the creative team has other brilliant prospects to explore.
Winning the title at Elimination Chamber could allow the writers to set up Lesnar’s match against former world champions like Seth Rollins and AJ Styles.
The Architect has been one of the top heels in WWE for the last six months and deserves a solid shot at the title. On the other hand, Styles recently reverted to singles runs and should be involved in the world championship picture as soon as possible.
Both these superstars will make for a great rival against The Beast Incarnate on the road to WrestleMania.
#1 Shouldn’t win the WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley needs the title more than Brock Lesnar
With or without the title, Brock Lesnar will be one of the biggest draws in the pro-wrestling business. He is the definition of stardom and doesn’t need to be wrapped in gold in order to gain the viewers’ interest.
But the same can’t be said for Lashley, at least not for the moment. Did you watch the promo involving all six Elimination Chamber competitors on RAW earlier this week?
In case you missed it, you should know that five of them, including the champion, took turns to fire shots at their rivals. Lashley was nervous and forgot his lines, but others made up for the mistakes. However, the star of the segment was still Lesnar, who didn’t even utter a word.
Still, the crowd cheered for The Beast Incarnate, who walked out in a Cowboy Hat and immediately established himself as the biggest threat.
WWE needs to create stars for the future, and Lashley is one such person. However, the creative team will have to invest more time in him, especially when he struggles with the microphone in MVP’s absence. He will immediately be pushed back into the mid-card without the title, but Brock Lesnar will continue to be in the main event picture.
As twisted as it may sound, the ground reality is that a legendary wrestler is not in desperate need of a title run to keep himself relevant. However, a supposed top superstar from WWE’s flagship show will quickly become lost in oblivion if he loses the gold.
