Bobby Lashley hasn’t been having the best time on WWE RAW in recent weeks. Even though he is the reigning WWE Champion, Lashley has been pinned by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in non-title matches.

Lashley will face Kingston at Money in the Bank and will likely retain his WWE Championship at the pay-per-view. However, he needs to ensure that he stays dominant on RAW in the months to come if he wishes to make his title reign more memorable.

Meanwhile, Goldberg has lost two big championship matches over the past year. He lost the Universal Championship to Braun Strowman last year at WrestleMania. Earlier this year, he was defeated by Drew McIntyre in a WWE Championship match.

Both superstars will be looking to pick up a win if they go head-to-head at SummerSlam. With that in mind, it’s safe to say that a loss for either superstar will certainly be very damaging for their image.

A loss for Goldberg will take away his credibility and probably take him out of championship matches for good. Lashley cannot afford to pick up a loss as it will completely tarnish his image as The All Mighty in WWE.
