Jey Uso won the Intercontinental Championship by defeating Bron Breakker on the September 23, 2024 episode of WWE RAW. The Yeetmaster overcame The Big Bad Booty Nephew to a massive pop from the Ontario, California crowd, winning his first singles title in WWE Uso's first defense against Xavier Woods was successful, and he is set for his second in a rematch with the two-time NXT champion.

Main Event Jey has also been engaged with The Bloodline, getting pulled back into the iconic saga courtesy of his twin brother Jimmy Uso. The Intercontinental Champion's latest appearance on SmackDown saw him confront Jimmy, Roman Reigns, and Solo Sikoa. His segment ended without much happening. His title defense on Monday, however, is sure to be a totally different story.

Here are three reasons why Jey Uso will likely lose the Intercontinental Championship on WWE RAW

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#3. Jey Uso's uninvited appearance on SmackDown spells doom for him on WWE RAW

When Roman Reigns returned to WWE to confront Solo Sikoa's Bloodline, Jey Uso was expected to rejoin the storyline sooner or later. Triple H and the creative team took the patient route, and fans anxiously waited to see what would bring him back in. When Jimmy Uso finally reached out on the October 14th episode of RAW only to be rebuffed by his twin, the audience thought the reunion was still far off.

However, everything changed with The Yeetmaster's appearance on SmackDown. By interrupting Solo Sikoa, he interfered in The Bloodline's business and became a target. Now, the heel faction will waste no time interfering in his business, and the Intercontinental Title defense on Monday is a golden opportunity to send Uso a message. There's very little chance that Sikoa and Co. will let Jey off easy.

#2. Bron Breakker can't afford another loss to Jey Uso

Since debuting on the WWE main roster, Bron Breakker has been booked very dominantly, only suffering two losses in almost a year. The star is widely regarded as the company's next big thing, and his booking reflects that. After losing the Intercontinental Championship to Jey Uso, Bron teased moving on to the World Title picture but swerved everyone by attacking The Yeetmaster again.

Can The Big Bad Booty Nephew afford another loss to Uso for a secondary title, when he had a chance to graduate to the main event scene? Would he have the same kind of momentum to go after Gunther after consecutive losses to the 39-year-old Samoan star? Given that the champion will likely be protected in defeat by Bloodline interference, Breakker winning looks like a safe bet.

#1. The Bloodline's dark match on WWE RAW is a spoiler for Jey Uso's IC Title defense

On the same night Jey Uso will defend the Intercontinental championship against Bron Breakker, Solo Sikoa will have a dark match against Cody Rhodes. Where Sikoa goes, The Bloodline is never far behind. Putting two and two together, the faction is likely to have some involvement on the red brand, although they have no officially announced segments for the show yet.

It's safe to assume that they'll be there for Main Event Jey, the man who interrupted their beloved leader and threatened their enforcer. One can just picture Jacob Fatu costing Uso the title and proceeding to beat him down along with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa whilst shouting "I love you Solo!" at the top of his lungs.

This should be what convinces The Yeetmaster to finally rejoin hands with Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns, just in time to build-up a strong program for Survivor Series.
