Roman Reigns made his long-awaited return to WWE television at the 2024 SummerSlam and followed it with an appearance on SmackDown the following week. While many thought he would reunite with Jey Uso after this, it might not happen for a while.

In August 2023, Jey Uso left The Bloodline and WWE after Jimmy Uso betrayed him to side with Roman Reigns. Jey returned to the Stamford-based promotion not long after but now as a RAW star, achieving several accomplishments as a singles star. At the same time, the group continued to operate on SmackDown.

After WrestleMania XL, Solo Sikoa took charge of the group after Roman's absence. The former North American Champion started his business with the new group by kicking out Jimmy Uso then Paul Heyman and adding Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. Reigns returned at The Biggest Party of the Summer alone, and it looks like it will be like that for a while.

For this list, we will look at three reasons why Jey Uso won't reunite with Roman Reigns anytime soon.

#3. Jey Uso is thriving on Monday Night RAW

As mentioned above, Jey moved to RAW after leaving The Bloodline. Since then, he has tried his chance for the Intercontinental and World Heavyweight Championship, a chance he wasn't given on SmackDown.

During Jey's time on the Friday show, he wasn't able to shine as a solo star or given opportunities. He was always associated with Jimmy and played second-fiddle to Roman. Since Reigns was the Undisputed Champion, he also couldn't feud with him. Due to this, Jey might not be itching to return to SmackDown when he is treated as one of RAW's top stars.

#2. Roman Reigns needs to prove himself first

Family or not, Roman Reigns has done many people wrong in his time as the only Tribal Chief on SmackDown. He battled Jey several times and tested him on different occasions, and these events will surely not be forgotten easily by the RAW star.

If Roman Reigns wants people to join him against Solo and to reunite with Jey Uso on SmackDown to go against Solo Sikoa, the former must win his cousin's trust first and prove that he is sincere and won't just use Jey for his own gain.

#1. There's no need to rush a reunion

Solo and Roman's feud has just begun, it hasn't even been a month since they finally clashed. The next major Premium Live Event from WWE is Survivor Series, over three months away.

WWE may want to let the story unfold slowly but surely and not rush into anything, especially since there are going to be many layers between the different former and current Bloodline members with each other.
